There are a lot of possible SEO techniques. Each of these techniques if followed carefully helps to increase the ranking of your site with search engines. Depending on the search engine, you would find some tips or techniques would be more relevant to some search engine sites. The following tips are guaranteed to help you achieve SEO optimization in any of the main search engine sites such as Google, Yahoo, MSM, Alltheweb and Hotvision.

  • Great Content remains the best of SEO techniques used to optimize web pages for search engines.  Your web content should be useful and worth viewing.
  • Inbound links helps your site get better rankings.  The more links you get on other sites linking your site the better.  The ranking of the other sites matters also.  The quality and effect of the link would increase if you aim sites that are popular and have high rankings.  Use appropriate anchor texts to lead back to your site.
  • Picking the right web page title is just as important.  Search engines crawlers and spiders search the page title when picking sites to display.  The title should also captivate people making the search.  An enticing catchy title makes it difficult to ignore your article.
  • Heading tags or H1 tags are very important.  Use one or two title for the heading.  These titles should contain relevant keyword or words to the article.  The heading tag is checked by almost all search engines.
